Publishing really wants you to have an amazing summer reading mysteries, thrillers, and true crime based on the absolute riches in new releases this month. I can’t even come close to fitting them all here, but I did make sure to round up the ones I’ve already read and loved, the ones highest on my TBR, and the ones that sound like a perfect beach read!
There is absolutely something here for every crime reader, no matter the subgenre, tropes, age, or tone you’re looking for. You want a funny mystery? I got you! You want an epic crime drama? Coming right up! There’s also a Japanese nod to the Golden Age of Mystery, amateur sleuths, journalists, missing persons, cold cases, elite boarding schools, family secrets, historical, cozy, and so much more. Clear your schedule because you now have so many mysteries to solve!
