“When you get a new book, do you take a look under the jacket to see if there’s anything special inside, or do you religiously protect your books with their jackets? A lot of books have gorgeous jackets that dress up a very plain, bare book, but every now and then, you’ll find that one rare book with an incredible surprise under the jacket. Here’s a list of books that look just as good (if not better) naked.”
Finding a gorgeous book under the jacket is always a lovely discovery.

Stephen Colbert’s ‘America Again: Re-Becoming the Greatness We Never Weren’t’ and ‘A Field Guide to Lucid Dreaming – Mastering the Art of Oneironauts’ are also not allowed to be read.
While Florida prison censors allowed the “Aryan Nation Catalog” and “The Kidnapping and Brainwashing of our Aryan Children,” they turned thumbs down on ‘Exotic Chickens: Coloring for Everyone, a Fun Anti-stress Coloring Book.’”
Everyone likes to laugh at “Florida guy,” but more people should be paying attention to corruption and civil rights issues.
“To commemorate the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at both Disneyland (now open) and Disney World Resorts (opening August 29), Insight Editions is releasing a Star Wars-themed cookbook written by Chelsea Monroe-Cassel (the author behind the official Game of Thrones cookbook) and comic book writer Marc Sumerak.
According to the Disney Parks blog, the book is told from the perspective of Strono ‘Cookie’ Tuggs, the former head chef at Maz Kanata’s castle on Takodana. In the book, Tuggs opens up about his decades of travel, research, and cooking across the galaxies, including running his own food freighter, Tugg’s Grib.”
