Saturday 24th November

Our event of the day is the final Autumn International for England and Australia as they take each other on at Twickenham Stadium. England go into this fourth and final game of their series having beaten Japan and South Africa already, and they lost out to New Zealand in their only other fixture. Australia, on the other hand, have struggled during their Autumn, winning just once against Italy last time out. Australia’s last victory over the English came in 2015, when they were 33-13 victors at Twickenham during the World Cup.

However, England have beaten Australia in the five meetings that preceded that game. If the home side are victorious today, they would have beaten Australia six times in a row for the first time in their history. In recent times, England have been in near perfect form on home soil. In fact, they have won 17 out of their last 19 games in England, with the only two losses in that time coming earlier this year against Ireland and New Zealand. Australia will be looking to spoil the party, but they’ll have to do so without world-class number 8 David Pocock, who is still suffering from a neck injury. However, it is a landmark game for scrum-half Will Genia, who will become just the tenth Australian international to win 100 caps for his country. It should be a thrilling game between two old rivals at Twickenham.

Honourable mentions around the globe go to the London derby in the Premier League as Tottenham welcome Chelsea to Wembley. The hosts are looking to make it five wins on the bounce whilst Chelsea will hope to maintain their unbeaten start to the season in this tricky test. Last time these two faced each other, Spurs won 3-1 in their first win at Stamford Bridge for 28 years. Another honourable mention goes to the Women’s T20 World Cup Final as Australia and England will battle it out for the title. England have just one T20 World Cup to their name, whilst Australia have won the competition a record-setting three times and will be looking for their fourth today. There is a busy night in the NBA as last year’s champions Golden State Warriors look to improve upon their recent run of poor form against Western Conference rivals, the Sacramento Kings. In the Bundesliga, Borussia Dortmund will look to maintain their unbeaten start to the season as they make the trip south to face Mainz. There is action in the darts as day 2 of the Players Championships Finals gets underway, which will see the 32 players who made it to round two face off for a place in the third round at Butlins in Minehead. In the NHL, the high-flying Buffalo Sabres will look to make it eight wins on the bounce against the Detroit Red Wings at the Little Caesars Arena. Finally, France will take on Croatia in the doubles at the Davis Cup, as the former continue their bid to retain the prestigious trophy on home soil.

Whatever you’re watching, enjoy!
