Donald Trump is very inventive with the English language. And Wednesday was no different. During an impromptu press conference, Trump talked about a meeting in which House Democrats held a meeting to discuss something called “the i word”.
Nope, he’s not getting it confused with the hit TV show The L Word. The i word he’s talking about is “impeachment”.
“All of a sudden I hear last night they’re gonna have a meeting right before this meeting to talk about the ‘i word,'” said Trump.
Stephen Colbert opened The Late Show with a very catchy song, reeling off all the other “i words” that could possibly describe Trump. Words like “ill-tempered, immoral, and ignorant” and “imminently impeachy.” Read more…
