Ed Sheeran is going to perform inside Pokémon Go, as we learned on Thursday. Developer Niantic Labs promised fans a week of access to the “concert,” from Nov. 22 through Nov. 30. It’s nice, it’s wholesome, it’s totally inoffensive. None of which sat right with the writers at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, apparently.
In this utterly deranged parody music video, a singer who sounds an awful lot like Sheeran croons the decidedly un-wholesome “Ed Sheeran is in Love with a Pikachu.” It’s a sing-along video too, so the words are right there for you to commit to (and never erase from) memory.
