Remember the late 2000s and early 2010s where it looked like the next big advancement, as far as TVs went, was 3D? A lot of TVs started coming out with 3D support, letting you have a sense of depth to what you saw on your screen. All TV manufacturers tried really hard to get 3D TVs to stick, but this effort was ultimately futile, as 3D all but faded away from TVs over the course of the next few years.
