James Corden doesn’t always go in for the big-issue chats the way other late night hosts do, but when Bill Maher made a call for “the return of fat shaming” on Real Time, the Late Late Show host had something to say.
Corden roasts Maher gently over their similar place in the network ratings and appearances in C-grade movies before calling Maher out for his argument in favour of, uh, trying to actively bully fat people into losing weight.
“Fat shaming never went anywhere — ask literally any fat person,” Corden says, laying out some of the factors that can make losing weight a lifelong struggle for some people. Read more…
