Although much gets revealed at the end of The White Lotus Season 2, there are just as many things that go unsaid — or, more specifically, unseen.
Whether or not anything actually happens between Daphne (Meghann Fahy) and Ethan (Will Sharpe), in retaliation to what they think happened between Cameron (Theo James) and Harper (Aubrey Plaza), is one of them.
Plaza has already shared her thoughts on the latter, and in the Tonight Show clip above, Fahy confirms that she does think something happened between Daphne and Ethan after they walked off down the beach together — and she even shared her ideas with White Lotus creator Mike White.
“I saw him [White] on the night of the finale and I asked him, because people ask me all the time, and I was like, ‘What do you think happened?'” says Fahy in the clip above. “And I told him what I thought happened and he was like, ‘Ew, I don’t want to think about that.'”
We knew it.
